A set of Mulberry Kids fruit and color learning cards, featuring illustrations of various fruits, on a wooden surface next to a box and some cards.

Playful cards that teach children to notice color variation and describe the world more colorfully.

We often teach kids colors, but not the shades within them. These 18 hand-illustrated cards teach children to see the difference between shades of color through fruit.

From zesty lemon yellow to juicy guava pink, a learning tool your child will reach for.

“I was super excited to find this product. Our kids love flipping through these cards and it's a great way to learn letters as well. The illustrations are very beautiful and the cards are very high quality. We are so happy with these and in fact ordered more to gift to our friends who have little kids.”

The image shows a set of fruit-themed learning cards, including a black-and-white card with various fruit illustrations and a colorful card deck with vibrant fruit images. There's also an orange-red box labeled "Mulberry Kids Hand-Illustrated Cards" containing 18 dual-sided, high-contrast, rounded-corner cards designed for preschool learning.

It started with a small conversation about purple.

My two-year-old pointed to a color and named it confidently. When I offered a slightly different shade to compare, he insisted, in the way only a two-year-old can, that his color was purple, and mine was not.

He was right, of course. They were both purple. He just didn't have the words for the difference yet.

That's what these cards are for: to help children describe what they're seeing through something they already understand — fruit. Because show me a kid who doesn't like fruit and I'll show you a basket of dino eggs.

A young child with red hair wearing a dark green sweatshirt and maroon pants is sitting on a beige carpet, holding a pink flashcard with a dragon fruit illustration and the text 'DRAGON FRUIT'. Additional flashcards are on the floor next to them.

A learning tool that grows with them.

Hold a card up, color side facing in, and ask: "I'm thinking of a fruit. It's fuzzy on the outside and green on the inside."

Watch what happens next. The older child starts working through it: "Can't be lemon, that's yellow. Is it sour?" You answer, "Sometimes." They think some more: "It's not avocado, avocado isn't sour..." until they proudly exclaim, "kiwi!”

On the other side of the room, a one-year-old reaches for the yellow banana card, reading 'nana'. They are learning their favorite fruits and have something to show for it.

A color identification card for lemon, yellow in color, with white illustrations of lemon slices, on a white surface. There are two wooden letter and shape pieces, with a 'B' letter at the bottom left and a spiral shape at the top right.

The gift they'll actually keep.

Not another plastic toy. Not something forgotten by nap time.

Mulberry Kids is the kind of gift that feels exactly right. Beautiful enough to display, purposeful enough to return to, packaged in a keepsake box that feels special before it's even opened.

These cards work for any young child, no matter their interest of the week. There’s no guesswork, and no “I wonder if they have this already.”

Perfect for families who value natural learning moments, plastic-free toys, and thoughtful design.
